Trends in 2008

The trend for 2008 is comprised of simple shapes, restrained colours, and natural materials - and a lot of green in combination with luxury and comfort. You can make your garden seem larger than it actually is by adding some elements in the width, length and depth. For example, a light back wall in your garden makes it look wider, whilst a dark back wall makes it seem deeper. You can achieve this effect by allowing a climbing plant to grow over your garden's back wall or fence. Erecting a fence with horizontal planks makes your garden seem longer

  

Whenever possible, put wooden garden furniture in the sun at the beginning of the season. The wood will then have fewer problems with green algae.
