Bear County carports are made from impregnated wood, and consequently they are protected from damage by fungi and insects. We recommend that you treat sawn or drilled surfaces with a transparent impregnation stain or similar. You can use a transparent or opaque stain to colour the wood. Untreated wood may turn grey over the course of time. However, this has no effect on the durability of the wood.
