Garden wood

Impregnated garden wood

Vacuum-impregnated wood is wood which is treated with a preservative that offers many years' protection from fungi and insects. We recommend that with this wood you treat sawn or drilled surfaces with a transparent impregnation stain or similar product. Untreated wood can become grey over the course of time; however, this has no effect on the durability of the wood. If so required you can use a transparent or opaque stain to colour the wood.

Larch

Larch is durable, water-resistant and strong. Larch contains natural constituents that protect the wood from the weather, wood rot and fungi. Consequently larch does not require protection above the ground. However, you are recommended to treat wood that does come into contact with the ground.

Hardwood

Hardwood can be treated in various ways. Untreated wood will turn grey over the course of time. However, this has no effect on the durability of the wood. You can prevent the wood from turning grey by regularly treating the wood with hardwood oil, thereby retaining the warm colour of the hardwood. You can also coat the wood with stain in any required colour.

Garden-Deck

Garden-Deck is extremely durable, and requires no further treatment or maintenance. Self-evidently, over the course of time it can become fouled. Any dirt can easily be removed using hand-warm water and a brush or high-pressure cleaner.
